Have you shopped at Wicked Uncle yet?
I have been SO excited to do this blogging assignment and to have the opportunity to share it with my lovely readers. Wicked Uncle is a really funky online toy shop that sells loads of quirky gifts that are ideal for nieces, nephews, cousins, Grandchildren, big kids or indeed anyone! The great thing about the website is that it is separated into age/gender categories, so I first checked out Age 8: Boys Gifts
I was first introduced to Wicked Uncle last year by a friend of mine and as soon as I started scrolling through the website I knew that this was the website for me. I ordered a whole heap of stuff for both of my boys for Christmas.
So you can imagine my delight when I saw on Social Media that Wicked Uncle wanted to work with bloggers. I jumped at the chance and submitted my application. Disclaimer:- #AD #gifted We were gifted a £40 voucher to spend on the website. All of our thoughts, opinions and pictures are our own.
We were seriously buzzing when we found out that we had been chosen to do the Wicked Uncle review. It took me ages to decide what items to choose as there were so many that I loved and I could have easily blown at least £200 in one go.
So, what did we choose to review?
1. The Pokibot

This has just got to be our favourite toy. The little Pokibot is so darn cute we’ve already bonded with him. He moves, turns, flashes his little eyes at you and you can record your voice and he will repeat it back in different voices.
Edward thinks it’s fabulous, except he keeps shouting ‘Look at the Rokibot!’ Us:-‘No, Edward it’s a Pokibot’ Edward:- ‘Hello Rokibot.’ Us:- No, Edward it’s a Pokibot.’ Edward:- ‘Hello Rokibot.’ (You get the idea 🤦🏻♀️) It doesn’t matter how many times we correct him that its a Pokibot and not a Rokibot he still says it wrong.

Edward was so excited to have the “Rokibot” I mean the Pokibot!
2. The Infinity Loop

I chose the Infinity Loop with Matthew in mind. He had seen one of these at his friends house and thought it was fab, so when I saw one on Wicked Uncle I ordered it. All you do is to roll it up and down your arm, but the fun doesn’t stop there, you can put both hands together and roll it side to side. You can hold hands with someone else and roll it up and down each other’s arms. Matthew has been trying to work out if he can get it to roll up and down his leg….he’s not had much success so far but he’s determined to find a way.
3. The Twister Light

Finally, we chose the Twister Light. I chose this from the sensory category. Having a child with autism who really responds to sensory toys, I always look for this category when I’m ordering from websites. The Twister light is a brilliant sensory toy, a twist (pardon the pun!) on standard Lava lamps. As the twister spins around, it really mesmerises anyone who watches it. Also, the fact that it changes colour every few seconds also keeps you hooked.

Twister light in Purple.
So with Christmas (sorry, I’ve said the C word in October) round the corner why not take a look at the Wicked Uncle website? I can guarantee that you will find something cool to give as a gift so you can increase your street cred and be ‘down’ with the kids 😂

Sounds like a great site. Nice to hear that they do something different from the usual toys.
I love Wicked Uncle, it reminds me of the toyshops of my childhood, full of unusual and fun things. The infinity loop is real interesting.
