The story talks about the challenges that autistic children face such as being overwhelmed with sensory things like noise, tastes, smells etc. The struggle to deal with their emotions and the repeating of certain phrases.

Most importantly, it explains that every autistic person is also very different. For example, some autistic people can talk a lot whilst others can’t speak at all. Personally, I feel that this is what people misunderstand the most about Autism, so I’m very happy that this book explains that aspect.

The story helps a child to learn about their autism in a positive and nurturing way and explains how a child can get help when they need it. The book contains beautiful and stimulating illustrations that your child can enjoy.

Some autistic children know that they’re autistic and different from their peers and this causes them anxiety. This book will help them to understand their differences.

When this book arrived, Edward was so excited that it had been sent for him, he thought it was his birthday! I have read this book to Edward twice and he sat through it and listened both times. For Edward, this is a huge achievement as he never sits still for very long.
