12 Christmas gift ideas for 12 year old boys

If like me you have a 12 year old son then buying them presents for Christmas can get a bit tricky.

Matthew is my eldest son and the older brother of Edward, so being a SEN sibling is quite challenging.

One thing that is easy is that Edward doesn’t really care what presents Matthew gets so we don’t have squabbling over who got the the best presents.

1 Bedside lamp with alarm

Matthew has recently got a mobile phone and I’m not too happy about him having it in his room at night. So this bedside lamp with alarm clock is the perfect solution to waking pre teens in morning.

2. Fart Game

I mean, who doesn’t love a game about farts? This would make a great stocking filler.

3. Ball bouncing skill game

My 12 year old has loads of energy so this will keep him physically occupied.

4. Flying Rings

Another physical game to be enjoyed outside. These ones are glow in the dark and lightweight. Less painful than being hit with a frisbee!

5. Electronic Money Box

Matthew increasingly asks for money for Christmas and Birthdays now so what better way to get them to look after their money.

6. IQ Puzzle Game

This is not something I would be able to buy for Matthew sadly. Not that he wouldn’t be able to do it, but if Edward got hold of it then all of the marbles would be launched all round the house. But this is another great stocking filler.

7. Hooded Blankets

My boys find dressing gowns quite annoying as the tie keeps coming undone, so these hooded blankets that are all the rage now are perfect.

Also because heating is now extortionate these will keep them nice and warm. This is just one example, there are other designs in my shop.

9. Magnetic Dart Board

Darts is a great game for brushing up on your mental arithmetic. This magnetic dart board is also great as you won’t end up with hundreds of tiny holes in your walls.

It can’t just be girls who love a bit of karaoke can it?! This is a lovely present for all those budding Harry Styles!
